I'd like to answer your responses to my request to share videos of you and some other of my requests. (I'm speaking only for myself, not for Jonah). 1). Your urges with the message "Just do TROM to the end" are, of course, correct. However, you are making a mistake if you think that I just sit there and wait for proof that TROM works to be brought to me on a plate with a blue rim (Dmitry ;) ). In fact, I've pretty much dedicated my life to TROM (and Eckhart Tolle's teachings, they are essentially the same, but cover different angles). I do RI (and Eckhart Tolle stuff) here and there every day, although far less than I could - but still not too little. And I've been doing this for more than a year now. (I don't do as much practice as I could, because power of intention is still too low, and I still need a lot of stimulus from environment) During that time normally I've been sitting with my mouth shut and was just working on TROM, and working and working (still doing pre-lvl2 RI). In fact, in response to some contributors to the TROM mailing list, I was privately thinking "Hey, man, a little less conversation and a little more action, please". But sometimes I get doubts about putting too many eggs into the TROM basket. Because, let's face it - TROM manual is just another book I've found on the internet, and to put too much faith in it isn't exactly rational. For all I know, I might be simply arrogant enough to think that I possess enough brainpower to detect the right book. I can be wrong! AND THAT's where a possibility to see, communicate etc. someone who has done TROM completely or almost done it comes in - such a possibility would encourage to work further. So, I think that you are right in urging people like me to simply do TROM, but I wanted to present my viewpoint as well, because it seems to make sense (Viewpoint here is used in the sense of holding a mental opinion, and not in the sense of a 'position from which to view'). Especially the part about "TROM manual is just another book I've found on the internet, and to put too much faith in it isn't exactly rational". 2). And also there was written about novices' desire to achieve extraordinary abilities (fly etc.) - nothing could be further from the truth in my case. I care about getting the stuff which is already there (relationships, health, intelligence and all-around internal freedom) - better, and don't give a damn about extraordinary abilities. Actually, I DON'T WANT to be able to fly etc., because the world wouldn't make sense then. 3). By the way, Dmitry, congratulations [, comrade]! In fact Dmitry to me looks the most realistic person in here - because he has been doing RI for months, as well as I have, so it's not something wrong with me that I have to do it for so long. Before I heard from him I felt like being an underdeveloped kid in school, who couldn't catch up with his classmates. Now I have a proof that RI CAN be needed to be run for months, perhaps years. Seems like I have, as you'd call it, "a difficult case", and that it's nothing to be ashamed of. By the way, an interesting fact. The Russians, namely, me, Dmitry and another guy (owner of freeyourmind.ru) are the only ones about whom I've heard that they need very long stretches of time to advance between levels or in "RI till no change" stretches. Everyone else seems to fly between levels like a butterfly! (in a few recent posts I've heard of someone to whom it took a couple of dozens of hours of level 2 to complete it - I didn't believe it. Literally.). This, maybe, is because of one of the following: - Either the Russians are more diligent and more persistent in finding the real "no change" and really finishing levels - Those people simply are "difficult cases" No longer bothering you... Happy to see this community to have achieved a better state since about a week or so ago. Many puns intended. :) Happy TROMming Max
