To be known as a butcher, baker or candlestick maker the being causes the appropriate effects of wearing the right costume and producing the products of his trade. Likewise if the being wants to love, to admire, to have, to control, etc. he is creating these effects in order "to be known". They are an effect he is creating in order to be known. The basic desire is always "to be known." Everything else is an effect created to show that I am here so that I will become known.
