Hi Ant
I agree that emotions were obvious but Hubbard listed them in order and taught 
them to auditors as a gage of progress on the case. So he "developed" the 
scales which ended up in the science of survival as measures of case condition 
and gages of vase progress.

I think we are in agreement here just defining terms.
