Colleen, I think the ability to distinguish some subtle nuances of human behavior will help to avoid unnecessary frustration. I have a very low ability to recognize the subtle differences but I practice) I had a lot of problems with others when i did not recognize the such bunch: a vital needs and life goals of another person -> games postulate to achieve this -> lose -> inversion / evil purpose -> concealing malicious purpose, witholds and false behavior. It is difficult to see the essence of the human through concealment of true. I try to rely on my skills to observe the subtle nuances of emotional tones.
