Subject: Misc. Remarks
Hello TROMmers again,
I have been quite busy finding new ways to be lazy, and writing on this
list is just one of many endeavors which satisfy my goal :-).
Actually I have been making remarkable case gain this week and I would
like to communicate about that, as well as some of the things which have
been said recently on this list.
I would urge new trommers to develop the ability to time break emotion
itself, not 'causes' of emotion, or scenes with emotion in them, but
formless emotion. Develop this ability in level three by being aware of
the emotion in the scene, and evaluating it in present time. Doing this
blew my time track to shreds, (I mean that in a good way) and it has been
vital for my recent progress on level 5.
To illustrate, I was towards the bottom end of the postulate failure
cycle chart, where I am originatin the postulate must not be known and
the other receiving end was making the postulate must not know. For
about the 1st twenty minutes there was not too much change, then I
started to feel kind of frustrated, and then a very solid emotional
structure overcame me, where I was very afraid of being found out, while
at the same time very relieved that the other being was not finding out.
After two sessions of time breaking this emotion, I got a huge release.
At the end of the second session I felt myself become wide open to be
known. I reached out to others with waves of love. I had also suddenly
developed much more affinity for other beings. I never viewed a single
picture, I just viewed emotion, and a whole new part of life opened
itself to me.
The ecstasy of the moment has subsided now, but I still feel a kinship
with other beings that I had not felt two days ago.
The logic of looking at the emotional content this way, instead of
looking at pictures, follows from what we tell ourselves constantly as we
meander down the spiritual path: We as spiritual beings are sovereign to
the physical world. The form of this world does not cause emotion, but
intense emotion can cause form. The scene on your time track only
'happened' because you had assumed a viewpoint, with the proper intent and
emotion, that it would happen. Others can feel free to correct my
semantics here :).
But for many, both beginners and otherwise, the time track is quite
important, and their is nothing wrong with that. Don't resist it, just
do the TROM exercises and, if you deem it worthy, take my advice. It has
worked for me.
Now some other remarks relevant to previous posts.
Re: Who should do TROM
I have said before that I don't think TROM should be used as
'self-help'. I mean, people who have alot of problems in their life that
they feel the need help with should not use TROM in general. People
using trom should be those aware of their spirituality and want to expand
their understanding of themselves. People seeking self help need
something to lead them into TROM. CCH's would probably work for most,
but then again, most self-help people would just stop after a succesful
round of CCH's :).
Re: Dangers of TROM
I do not accept in my universe that TROM can cause me damage, although I
am somewhat forced to know that it could be dangerous to others. The
only people who could be damaged by TROM are those who believe that their
mind is filled with monsters and implants. Read the Seth Books, and Mind
Matters to help you get over that if you feel that way. If you still
feel that way, don't do TROM.
I have only come across two things in my mind which could be referred to
as implants as I have gone along. One I gave myself while on LSD, the
other I got from 6 months on Austin Foundation staff :-).

This is a question that I pondered for many years, long before I knew TROM
ever existed.. I think that both partner and solo auditing have their places,
depending on the type of process being run.
Entity handling seems like a good fit for solo, since in fact this is just
the PC handling the entity, and so is in reality partner auditing.
Certain processes address the abilities of the being, and these, too, seem to
be a good fit for solo. Examples are any process in which the being is
"practicing" in order to increase his ability, such as straightwire and creative processing.
Timebreaking is an excellent solo process that falls in this category.
On the other hand, there are certain areas that the being simply won't think
about looking into himself. An auditor can point a person into such an area
and get him through it. For these areas, the bank is greater than the PC, but PC
plus auditor is greater than bank.
The idea of solo auditing really appeals to me. If we are truly interested
in full freedom for ourselves, then it seems that at some point we must take
full responsibility for ourselves, including our auditing. However, I have to
admit in looking back over the auditing that I've had that my biggest gains have come from being
audited by an auditor, and not from solo sessions.

Why not just let entities do TROM on their own time instead of wasting yours?

Agreed

Or maybe the viewpoint which the PC is assuming makes it appear the bank
is greater than himself. Maybe he is only assuming such a viewpoint
because he has been lead to believe that it is the Truth.
Using words like 'greater' make it sound like the PC is playing a game
with the bank, trying to overwhelm it. If you want to play a game, two
on one hardly seems fair :-). If you want understanding, then appreciate
the mind without significance. (Although an auditor can help with that,
too)
I have a few problems with having an auditor, not that I am opposed to
it, specifically. Auditors, (and C/Ses) respond in accordance in
with their training. They will view a pc's mind from the viewpoint which
they were trained to. Even if they 'audit the person in front of them'
they still audit him in the manner in which they were trained, and no
training is all inclusive.
However, a being is very well trained in the ways of her own mind. Those
who say that having and auditor is all-important I would ask you this:
If a person comes into a new technology and is told from day one that she
can understand her own mind on her own, and that she can attain freedom
painlessly just by following a few prescribed steps and using alot of
intuition, will she be able to go as free as any good ol' OT8?
Has it ever been tried? (in western society)
Say to yourself 'The mind is full of painful things that I can not get
through on my own, and I need someone their to help guide me through it.'
Now ask, 'How has this idea served me?'
and
'How has this idea served the one who taught me this?'

Get to level 5 and see if you still feel this way :-). The wins on
levels 2 and 3 are minor, but they are also numerous, for me anyway. You
may not feel the line charge you did in session with an auditor, but you may
find after looking back, that you have reached a plateau much higher than
you were before. That is how it was for me. I hope it is that way for you,
for all.

Subject: One more use of Timebreaking
Hi,
I just want to say that one my friend effectively uses Timebreaking with
Re-experiencing. He runs a client through the incident and then does
Timebreaking. He says that it is much faster than by usual Dianetics
method. For me it is a useful novelty.
Lo,
