HI David I watched the first half of the first video of Gerry Armstrong. He is obviously unhappy with the Sea Org and the Church. He feels he was treated unfairly and had no recourse.
I was in the Church through a franchise in Orange County California. I joined the Sea Org to help set up the Fort Harrison Hotel to be the Flag Land Base in 1976. I had several jobs like building maintenance and Photographer in the next couple of years. I was sent to the RPF because i had a Rock Slam during auditing. I was interested in Scientology because it presented a scientific basis of relationships between people. And i studied everything i could read in the Tech and Admin materials to learn all i could about that. I wanted to know how to improve relationships with communications and the ARC triangle, emotional tone scale, student hat etc. I got from Scientology that useable tech that i still use. I saw while in the Sea Org that operation was run like the military with no consideration for the happiness of the members. Second dynamics had a rough time as the third dynamic came first so there was no respect for husband wife relations and discouragement of having and raising children. I could see that the Church of Scientology was going to ruin the Tech of Scientology. They were making the Church the only dynamic that mattered which is an "Only One" State for the church and this makes an enemy of all the other dynamics. This is what we now see demonstrated as the church is kicked out of some countries and individuals like Gerry are making videos "exposing" how bad the church is. It does not matter to me that the COS is going down hill. I think it is inevitable that organizations seek power and wealth only to loose popular support. The Catholic Church has done this, the Muslim Church has done this, The Romans, British and currently the American Government have done this. These organizations will fade away. The only thing that is important is the Understanding of the Mind that LRH developed and others have continued to develop. This Tech should be preserved and made available to all.
