I fully understand what you wrote. I did not imply or infer that there was no value or no good in scn. I have been posting long enough, that you should know that I know that Hubbard and scn are a complicated enigma. Hubbard was about as much genius as he was criminal, corrupt and a pathological liar and BSer. And multiple personality. After almost 20 yrs of study and evaluation, I can quite clearly see all sides of the complicated enigma. I know well that all (or rather at least enough of) the basic principles of how to resolve the problems of the mind and spirit are in scn. But they are entwined into a lot of false and limiting data. I have gleaned a lot from that mess and have made my own bridge, and a much better one, at that. I see no evidence that anyone has come close to what I have as a bridge. The trouble with commenting on scn or any part of it, is it is impossible to always cover (and qualify) all aspects of the comment. And I assume members of this group, pretty well know that. So, when I posted Gerry's videos, I did not imply that all of scn was NFG. The most significant part of what Gerry says, is that he found Hubbard's personal notes and he saw notes where Hubbard was confessing or lamenting to himself that he knew that his auditing did not work as well as he claimed, and that there were no clears in scn. He knew that he did not know what he was doing, and was lying and perpetuating a lie and living a lie. From what I gathered from Gerry's words is that there was a lot of such notes. But that does not mean that the principle of auditing does not work, to resolve the problems of the mind. It just took many other people to take off from where Hubbard left off and glean the gold from the dross and make enough improvements to the tech of auditing to make it work a lot better. I do see the big picture and the little picture, and everything in between. Resolving the problems of the mind and spirit is the biggest and most difficult problem man has faced. Hubbard said that he first entered or contacted a very high theta band, (possibly the kingdom of heaven) as a result of leaving his body, during a dental operation in the 30s. He said he found data that answered pretty well every question man had ever asked. And when he returned and left the dentists office, he got a couple reams of paper and strong black coffee and sat down to write what he all learned. That is the Excalibur manuscript. It was never published, but in the tech dictionary it says that most of that data is scattered throughout scn. Plus in the intro to 8-0-0-8 he gives credit to 50,000 yrs of thinking men, who attempted to resolve the problems of the mind, as his source. It is impossible for one person to do all the research in one life time, that is necessary to resolve the problems of the mind. It took 50,000 yrs of thinking men before him and his enlightenment experience and his liftetime and a few more generations after him, to get the tech to a workable state.
