Dear TROM reader,
Every now and again I seem to run a little activity which I call Books
Weekly via Ant. We are starting a new one next Saturday so I thought I'd
let you in on it if you're interested in joining us.
The basis of it is that I send out every Saturday a link to a chapter of
the chosen book with an invitation to read the chapter, send comments
and questions into me and I'll distribute them to the 50 or so people
who are joining in.
The book we're running is a very old one in Scientology terms. It was
written in 1953 and thus gives a look at how Scientology was then in the
author's eyes (and the author was not L Ron Hubbard).
The book is called "Introduction to Scientology" and is written by
Richard DeMille, who worked with Ron until he became disillusioned about
Scientology. There is a description of him and the book at the following

There are just over 50 people on this little lark at the moment and it
is very much a question of the more the merrier. That is to say the
activity uses two-way communication; people commenting and commenting on
comments and asking questions and not everybody joins in with the
sending in of comments so it is nice to get new people. If you want to
make a comment or ask a question we normally pass your address on but if
you don't want that or if you just want to talk to me about it you can
say so very clearly and I will not do what you don't want me to do.
