I have been listening to audio using trplayer for quite some time, had it
set up including the mailcapstuff.tar.gz package from
ftp.braille.uwo.ca/pub/linux/goodies. Ordinarily when I go to an audio
link, trplayer starts. However, something has changed; I don't know if it
might be because freeamp was upgraded on my debian system. Now when I go
to an url, freeamp tries to start instead of trplayer; usually freeamp
can't handle the url so it quits and I'm back at the url from which I
tried to access the audio link. This has happened repeatedly, but the url
I am currently trying to access is

http://209.10.202.162:8400listen.pls
I know my trplayer/realplayer installation is actually ok because the
access is fine if I type "trplayer" plus this url from the command line;
it appears to be just my Internet access with trplayer from within lynx
that has a problem.
I honestly have no idea as to how to track down this problem and solve it.
Help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
