Agreed, that anyone who doesn't believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ is going to hell.DAVEH: Put another way, wouldn't it be fair to say that those who do not believe in JC will find themselves removed from his love? If his love is as compelling as Christians profess, would not the withdrawal of that love be a "hell" in itself?
But not the Mormon, diluted hell, but a hell Jesus Himself described as hell fire.DAVEH: IMHO, "hell" is the separation from God and his love, and the "fire" is the feeling those will have when they are separated from his love. As I have previously stated, the physical fire believed by many Christians to be "hell" is symbolically described throughout the Bible. Let me ask you a question, Glenn.....what is meant by the "gates of hell" as spoke by Jesus in Mt 17:18? Are those "gates" symbolic???
It's as important as heaven and hell.DAVEH: I would suggest that also having a resurrected physical body is "as important as heaven and hell".Glenn - I believe in a literal resurrection of Jesus Christ with a physical body. However, I don't think Jesus is limited to that physical body all the time. DAVEH: Hmmmmmm........Why is that? It almost sounds like you don't think the resurrected body of F&B is all that important.
