DAVEH: What do you think of those churches that DO practice it, Laura? Do you think the Lord condones such practices???
There are a lot of "protestant" churches that do not teach salvation as I understand it. I don't think it matters to the Lord if an infant is baptized - he is more concerned that they grow up to "Know" Jesus Christ. Personally I think that a person has to make a choice to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and that then they should be baptized by immersion. BUT I don't believe baptism saves them. I don't consider belonging to a church to be enough to save a person either. Laura
