I listened to Joani’s music on her website: awesome!  I can’t wait to get my first order!

How I envy you for getting to meet President Bush! I am praying for a way to get him to sign my 9-11 memorial quilt. (Fat chance, other than a miracle.) (Also the signatures of several others who are on the quilt.)

All of this brings up something I have wanted to discuss: I would like to hear more about the various creative talents that the Lord has given members here on TT. I would like to hear more about Glenn’s experiences as a pastor with a TV program (correct?), etc. He is obviously talented at management and computer/website. What else?

I know that David Miller is very talented on the computer and has a home business where he utilizes this gift, and that he has a “talent” for street preaching. And I happen to know that his lovely wife is very gifted at making creative photo albums about her family each year, and has a home accounting business.

I don’t know anything at all about Laura’s talents. L

It sounds like Marlin is talented at growing living things. I would love to see some photos of his stringed instrument creations.

My Beloved, Steven, is a talented Duke and Harvard trained eye surgeon, computer geek (and sometimes quilter).  My talents are in the area of quilting, writing, and speaking. I will try to send you a photo of my last finished quilt, titled “We Remember”. Lately I’ve been available to bug Glenn on TT due to the fact that I am developing my old house rehabbing talents, ie; plastering, sanding, painting.

Let’s not be falsely humble and give the Lord glory by telling each other about the talents the Lord has given us and our family members!

Izzy

P.S. Glenn, my suggestion for your lack of talent in the plant-growing department is that you should talk to your plants. They love to receive blessings while you are watering them! Jesus cursed the fig tree and it died. You have to stop yelling at your plants. J
