Yes, it is truth for me, and so is the next verse: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) Let no man say that Jesus Christ leaves us to wallow in our sin. If Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness, then in Jesus Christ are we righteous or unrighteous? Peace be with you.
