that 2[fido is not a dog] because he has only three legs is ridiculous
 
so, the allegedly solid 'logic' is as superficial as this:
 
1Christians are perfect
2Dr GT is a Christian
Therefore, Dr GT does not sin
 
in sum, while syllogistic logic appears to make sense,  in reality it might be ridiculous (e.g., unless Glenn is truly sinless) (e.g., unless 3-legged fido ain't a really a dog:-)
