Hi Gary.

As a founding member of TruthTalk, you really should know better. My
educational background has been mentioned several times, and it is mentioned
on our website (www.InnGlory.org) by clicking on my name in the library
section.

I studied biology in the university system for 9 years, from fall of 1978 to
fall of 1987. I received a bachelor's degree in 1982 from the University of
Southern Mississippi and a Master's degree in 1985 from the University of
South Florida. I began studies toward a Ph.D. in biology, but I dropped out
after 2 years. I have five years experience in teaching biology at the
university level. Izzy is correct about my research background. I've
published in scientific journals a few times, as well as in other magazines
and print media. I've also presented my research findings several times at
scientific conventions, and I have participated in the review process of
considering the publishing worthiness of the works of other scientists.

In my opinion, credentials are over-rated. In upper scientific endeavors,
the degrees are more political and sociological than you can possibly
imagine. It is basically a good ol' boys club. Being a creationist among
evolutionists, I basically found it a waste of my time by the beginning of
my 10th year at the university and so I felt it was time to move on. I had
enough college credits for a Ph.D., but I did not consider it worthwhile to
finish the required research dissertation. Let's just say that I was tired
of trying to please 5 professors who didn't seem to agree on anything, and I
had a growing family who needed me to make a better income.

If you want credentials, I suspect that newcomer Peter might blow us all
away if he shared his curriculum vitae with us. Feel free to tell us more
about yourself Peter. Maybe you can succeed where I have failed in gaining
Gary's respect. :-)

Peace be with you.
