G'day Guys, I think that when someone commends themselves with how well they have done, it doesn't count for much. But when God commends them that's different (was that 2 Cor 10:18?). My favourite quote from cartoons is Popeye where he says: "I am what I am, and that's all that I am" That is how I feel about myself (this is not a surreptitious claim to Divinity). I would hope that none of you accept anything that I write because I wrote it. That's alright for young children, but I am not good with young children. I am into training people to become confident in their own abilities and lose any dependency on me - not that I intend training anyone on this list. (I do train my internet students not to resort to abuse, or to attribute improper motives. It works really well and they continue to impress me.) I have presented what I hope are Biblical views on that, and the problem of mixing "Biblical" science with "modern" science to interpret the meaning of the text.
