You can count on those prayers.
Terry,
I understand completely. Actually, I believe it was Billy Grahams wife who stated the quote below, and I agree. Every day that God withholds His judgment from us is a testimony to His grace and mercy.
Queers (and many other types of sinners as well) ARE given over to a reprobate mind. But God even saves reprobates now and then. I believe that NO ONE gets saved without someone praying for it for them first. I actually do pray often for some lesbians I know. I hate to think how many people have gone to hell that I never even thought to pray for.. Thank God I had a Grandmother who prayed for me to get saved.
My whole point is this: We can be Cursers, or we can be Blessers! We can spend our lives dwelling on the darkness (sin, depravity, hopelessness, Conspiracy Theories) with our heads between our knees, OR we can look UP! And praise God for the blessings He has given us. I LOVE AMERICA! I LOVE GOD MUCH MORE!!! PRAISE JESUS; PRAISE JESUS; PRAISE JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Izzy,
PS Im with you on the Bahamas! However I have to make a quick trip to Palm Springs first. My husband and I would appreciate the prayers of those of you on TT for our safe trip. Really.

I haven't given up hope for this nation, and I do not intend to move, but calling this one nation under God is a bad joke, as evidenced by the leaders we elect. As for the queers, it is my understanding that the Lord has given them over to a reprobate mind. I hope I am wrong on this, as Paul indicated, "Such were some of you" ( but no longer)
A preacher once said,"If God does not soon destroy this country, He will have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah".
We know that God need not apologize for anything, but you get the idea, I am sure.
On second thought, the Bahamas might be nice; good weather, no taxes.

Terry,
I take it that you dont like America very much. Have you decided yet what better place you are going to move to? Let me know
I understand your disappointment with this nation. All of us who love God and His laws are grieved as well. The question is whether we want to spend our lives cursing the darkness, or being a beacon of light. Do we waste our time gnashing our teeth, or living a life of righteousness as an example to others, and praying for those queers, etc.?
I believe that a handful of godly Believers can make a difference in this BLESSED nation with a GODLY heritage. I dont believe God has given up on America yet, because there remain a faithful few who are the apple of His eye.
Izzy

What nation would that be? I hope you are not talking about the one with two queers and a murderer in congress and a freemason for a president, the one that kills four million unborn boys and girls every year, the one that sells pornography with little children in the starring roles. Is that the nation?

Terry, I guess you forgot about the One nation, UNDER God part. Izzy

I used to pledge to the flag, until I looked up the word "allegiance".
It means "undivided loyalty". My undivided loyalty is to Jesus, not the flag, not the people that it represents.

Second, I stopped "pledgin" to the flag long ago. It just doesn't set well with me Scripturally speaking.
Pledging to the flag is a personal thing. I think it is my responsibility to respect my country and the authorities and I think that is biblical. I pledge to the flag and am proud that I do it. As for McDonalds - hard to do the gramma thing and avoid that one totally! Also if you don't patronize them then don't go to Home Depot or Dillards either - AND I'm sure there are more! Like hotel chains that have the option of seeing porn on the TV ! We could get really legalistic here. Laura
