Hi gary,   One must be careful not to get into occult numerology, which is an apparent offspring of gematria.  However it seems that there are real numerical meanings in scripture, and gematria is a study of this.  I just surfed the net and found what looks like a believer’s website to explain this at :   http://www.kolumbus.fi/gematria/.  Let me know what you think of it.    I have always found the meanings of numbers in the Bible to be interesting.  However, some people can interpret the numerical meanings a bit differently.
