I do not believe the below Paul quote applies to ALL Christians.  We need to see who Paul is talking to here.  We need not forget a little common sense...who, what, where, why, when.  Bodily exercise would profit a lot to an obese person.  It might even save their life.  However, saving their physical life is nothing compared to saving one's soul.  Maybe that is what Paul is talking about.  If so, then it applies to all.  HOWEVER, Paul is not belittling exercise.

yep; and it's still correct..any wise physiologist will tell you this, the same thing as the Ap Paul communicated..(ftr) this is exactly why (partic in valid NT counseling/preaching) to carefully establish NT/exegetical linkage betw obesity and gluttony (which is truthful/correct), not betw obesity and laziness/lack of exercise per se..
