I agree--using the name of the Lord in that context is entirely unnecessary
and frivolous; therefore disrespectful and irreverent. He is an AWESOME
God, and is to be REVERED as HOLY. Izzy

It is not blasphemy, but it is taking the Lord's name in vain. The name
of God is Jesus (technically, Yeshua in Hebrew), and using it in this
manner is disrespectful and vain. Vain means "devoid of substance and
meaning" and so in this context it is simply filler speech and not meant
to communicate anything directly in the context of what is being said.
Therefore, whoever said this has transgressed the third commandment.

Exo 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for
the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Peace be with you.
