Hi Kevin,
Unfortunately I cannot in good conscience discuss the meanings of the
markings in the locations you asked about. They obviously do have
special meanings, and serve a purpose beyond covering nakedness. The best
I can do is to say they are for reminding the
wearer of key gospel concepts which, if adhered to,
will increase the probability of the wearer keeping the commandments
of God, and thence showing his/her love for--and desire to become more like--God
the Father, and his son, Jesus Christ.
Shalom, BlaineRB

the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do

Since the markings do not cover nakedness
What is their main purpose?
The marking above the right knee.
The specially sewn opening near the navel?
The embroidered carpenter's square on the right breast?
The mason's compass on the left?

naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. Also, note that the coats of skins given to these two newbies were for the same purpose:Gen 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of
skins, and clothed them. The main purpose of the Mormon undergarment is to cover the nakedness and thus help preserve the modesty of individuals, male and female.PS How come you write so small Kevin? I had to get out my magnifying glass to read it. Don't you want us old guys to read your stuff?
