Of course LDS use this verse in Amos, to approve of secret things, that can not even be spoken of. Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
Jesus never had secret teachings ONLY Cults and those that have hidden designs to entrap the gullible do.
JOHN 18:20 "Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing."
Is 45:19 I have not spoken in secret
PAUL the apostle taught openly
And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publickly
God will judge your secrets
Ecc 12:14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
