I have had LDS come back repeatedly to discuss things.
If they were so offended, why would they do that?

I even had a Mormom RM (returned Missionary) stop his car, park and come over to say Hello. This was in Salt Lake City almost 4 Years after I witnessed to him in Rochester NY after Street Preaching a Parade. He was in a group of Missionaries watching that parade. The fact that he remebered my name, was a shocker for me. I only talked to him for about 1 hour 4 years previous. The "talk" was more of a preach. I was not easy on him since it was a one shot deal. I am able to be loving but I am also able to be hard. We are talking of eternal destiny here. If you really believe that thetre is a AWFUL Place called Hell, it seems to me there is not to much you could do to go overboard to keep someone out of there. I find that Many to most, of the christians that are offended by public preaching are not doing anything.I have heard "christians" come over to correct a street preacher so many times I am sick up to here with it. I almost always ask how many people they have witness to in the last week, month. It eithers gets real quiet or they change the subject.  I prefer my doing something wrong, than their doing Nothing the right way.
Prov 27:5 Open rebuke is better than secret love
I have been dealing with LDS for about 15 years. I know men that have ministries to the LDS. Over & over the testimony they give is years of ministry 0 saved. In the last 4 years preaching hard at the general Conference (3 days in April 3 days in October each year) I have personally witnesses about 20 saved. There were more than this but I did not personally witness the salvations.

There is a time and a place for love & gentleness.
There is also a time & place for hashness Reproving & Rebuking
God commands such. Need I quote the scriptures?
Any christian that ONLY preaches LOVE is as PERVERTED as a christian that preaches ONLY damnation! If you are in tune with God's Holy Spirit, the Spirit will show you when to each. If you listen, but of course if you do not bother to even open your mouth...
1 Co 15:34  Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

When we see millions cast into a awful Hell. As we will someday. We will wish we had done more. They will wish we had done more. They would want us to have been even hasher, if it would have woken them from the "stupor of thought" they are in.

Some wish to live within the sound of church and chapel bell. I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of Hell! C.T. Studd

I understand that preaching to a group is different than witnessing one on one, if that was your question.  It would be refreshing to see someone preach with a beer in his hand.  Our Savior taught on at least one occasion while drinking wine, so a beer would be quite in place as long as the one preaching was sober.  How this compares to underwear is what puzzles me.

Ruben:

When you witness to someone holding a can of beer is a bit different than preaching in New Orleans during Mardi Gras.  Witnessing to a Mormon at work or on your front door is much different than preaching to them at their convention, in their city, with their police department standing around.  Mormons when in a group are the most arrogant people one can witness/preach tounless you can snap them from that glazed look, that half phony smile and talk with that ever so soft caring voice...AND GOD ALLOWS US TO SHOCK THEM OUT OF THEIR HYPNOTIZED STATE OF MIND BY YELLING AND SWINGING THEIR UNDERGARMENTS IN FRONT OF THEM...AND THAT WORKS EVERY TIME.  They snap out of that cult stupor by waving those undergarments like a checked flag, where they gather around and hear a message, then break down into smaller groups to debate Bible and Book of Mormon.  But unless you have preached a message where thousands of Mormons are around youyou will never understand.  This act has caused Mormons to question their Church that no one in the New Testament wore these garments.   But first we must (ZAP) get (JOLT) their (SHOCK) attention (SNAP THEM OUT) first. Then we can have dialogue with hundreds of great conversations, some that last for over an hour or follow up the next day.
