Ruben:

I think you misunderstood me.  I was speaking of my experience of being saved.  I have never been to Salt Lake City, never preached on a street, but that was not listed as a prerequisite for getting an answer from you on why you choose this method of reaching out to the lost.  You volunteered to provide information.  I am waiting to hear that information.  When we are done discussing what you do, then, if you like, we will discuss what I do.

Terry on your first post did you not say but it was patience, love, and reason that led me to surrender my life to Christso if that is the casebe patient.  Practice what was given to you.  I will give you information after I sort to whom I am speaking with.  I know Christians who witnessed to someone with a beer in hand but preaching at Mardi Gras is a completely different approach.  This is public preaching 101.  As when witnessing to a Mormon or a missionary that comes to your door vs. in Salt Lake during conference where you have thousands walking everywhere.  You do understand this, right?
-----------------------------------------------------------
I understand that preaching to a group is different than witnessing one on one, if that was your question.  It would be refreshing to see someone preach with a beer in his hand.  Our Savior taught on at least one occasion while drinking wine, so a beer would be quite in place as long as the one preaching was sober.  How this compares to underwear is what puzzles me.
Patiently waiting, but it is my bedtime.
Terry
