Blaine: I know of no scripture, Mormon or otherwise, that sheds light on
how the Father arrived at his knowledge of good and evil. John the Baptist
ate honey and locusts, in order that he might know the difference between
good and evil, the bitter and the sweet. There are many experiences we can
have to learn the difference between good and evil without having to
sin--sinning to learn the difference is learning the hard way, I would say.
Obedience to God's commandments is the easier route. To draw the
conclusion that one must sin in order to learn the difference between good
and evil is to draw a conclusion based upon shallow understanding of life in
general and its purposes.
The idea that Mormonism teaches God sinned is Kevin's fantasy. Kevin
brought it up, let Kevin show where it comes from (:>).
