No, at least not directly. The parents' sins are visited upon them, however, and if they walk in the sins of their parents, they will be punished for it. My perspective is that the spirit and soul is created when a new person is born. Therefore, I would say that we have no "spiritual inheritance" in Adam, only physical inheritance. That physical inheritance, however, has a lot of impact on human behavior. It creates drives and impulses within us that are geared toward selfishness. This is sinful in that people invariably put their own needs above that of others. This tendency to be selfish and sinful is called a sin principle or sin nature and is targeted by Paul's rhetoric in Romans 7 where he explains the problems of the flesh interacting with the law of God. What is passed on is the physical body with the genetic makeup that codes for human behavior. The man who is "born again" rises above his genetic makeup to exhibit behavior based in the spirit rather than in the physical body of flesh. I think Ezekiel 18 makes it clear that God does not hold children responsible for the sins of the parents. What does happen, however, is that the sins of the parents are visited upon the children, and this has to do with understanding authority. My children are blessed by my actions or they suffer because of my actions. That is because they are my children and under my authority. If I make righteous and good decisions, they are blessed, but if I make wicked choices, then they suffer because of it. For example, if I was lazy and did not earn an income, they would suffer poverty. If I did not teach them from the knowledge I have, they would suffer ignorance. If I did not lead them to the Lord, they would suffer a lack of the blessings that come from serving the Lord. Peace be with you.
