Subject: [TruthTalk] Kingdom Come
This scripture is spoken by an Old Covenant prophet Blaine
and is not intended for the Mormon structure at SLC and
elsewhere.
Also the curse referred to by the prophet Malachi is not to burn in
hell
Blaine The burning
referred to in the D&C is to be the burning of the wicked at the coming of
the Lord--this is a literal burning, as the wars and other judgements
cause the wicked to be burned at his coming.
This is the same as
with the parable of the wheat and tares, with the tares being gathered up and
burned at his coming, and the wheat will be saved, as his judgements fall
on the peoples of the earth.
, it is self explanatory.
judyt
Blaine: I never
said the curse would be burning, anyway--you are correct, it is self
explanatory.
Blaine: The
Lord never nullified the OT as the word of God. It was all the apostles
and prophets of the NT had, in fact, when they spoke of the word of God being
binding on all. The promise in Malachi still holds, as do many OT
prophecies and sayings in the Bible. It is still the word of God, and
the promises may still be relied upon. See
Matthew 4:4 "But he answered and said, it is written, Man shall not live
by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth forth from the mouth
of God."
Don't be afraid to try the Lord--I challenge you and
Kevin--and all TT'rs-- to try this as an experiment, and you will
see I am correct. Your spirituality will be increased many times,
and your ability to meet your financial obligations will not be
diminished.
Blaine: Malachi 3:-11
(Pay up or be cursed--its in your Bible)
Will a man rob God? Yet ye
have robbed me, even this whole nation.
Ye are cursed with a curse:
for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
Bring ye all the tithes into the
storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith,
saith the Lord of Hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and
pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to recieve
it.
And I shall rebuke the devourer for
your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall
your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of
Hosts.
And all nations shall call you
blessed; for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of
Hosts.

BLAINE Your report made it seem as if Mormons are under a
great deal of pressure to pay their annual 10% tithe. I don't think
there is much pressure, other than that of individual conscience, to pay
tithes or other contributions.
Pressure? NO Pressure. Pay up or Jesus is gonna burn you
up!
DAVEH: Hmmmmmmm.....reminds me of the pressure
we LDS folks get from some TTers, Kevin......
