Hi Bill,
I agree that the Lord works in mysterious ways his wonders to perform--
there is much we don't understand that he does, and I guess the bottom l
ine is--whatever works, works, huh?

Advocates of BIBLE ONLY scriptures might take offense at this, but I can't
pass up this opportunity to say the BoM has led millions to having faith in
Jesus Christ--sans the traditional baggage that usually goes with the
BIBLE-IS-THE -ONLY-SCRIPTURE point of view.  (:>)

jt: I don't doubt that this is so Blaine. The million $$ question though is what
Jesus is the focus of their faith, the one in the BofM or the real one. Is the Jesus
they believe in the same one who will stand in judgment on that day?  These ppl
may be some of the folk who are so sure they know him and say "Lord, Lord,"
to which he will reply to them "I never did know you, depart from me you who
practice lawlessness" (Matt 7:23).

It's not just a matter of coming to someone by the name of Jesus. Faith and
obedience are also part of the walk of salvation and obeying some system he
has nothing to do with is in his eyesight dead works and lawlessness.
