Are you saying that God has hidden certain truths from his ppl throughout the ages so that he can
now reveal them through the ungodly?

First, I said "subtle acceptance'   If you want to know what I meant by that, I guess you will ask.   Secondly, am I saying the God has hidden truth so that He can reveal it through the ungodly?   No

Check it out, Jesus said "if the light within is darkness, how great is that darkness" Are you
saying that the Bible is in agreement now with godless secular humanists?.

Actually, I am saying that, in this particular case, the ungodly humanist agrees with the biblical message

Proverbs 13:22 refers to the inheritance a good man leaves to
his children and his grandchildren which is not what we are discussing here

Here, you somehow missed what was actually said in the passage.   Allow me to quote:   "but the wealth of a sinner is stored up for the righteous."   Psalm 49:10 says the same thing.   Unless you think the grandfather in this passage is the wicked one, the passage says exactly what it seems to say.   So, I guess that means that I am right again.

Judy, speaking for myself, let me say this:   I have an enormous respect for the biblical message as being inspired revelation.    I always read secular materials with the view of an apologist -- always looking for ideas and principles embraced by the eeeeeevile world, ideas and principles claimed by secularists as being of their own creation that have basis in God's revealed and written message. Glasser's approach works because he is using principles found to be the will of God.  In this area of research in which I am interested,  the written message,  is very important.  I have no interest in math, many forms of medical science, Quantum dynamics, and the like.    If I did, my standards would be different in that I would not be able to us the biblical message as a sounding board for evaluation.    But the biblical message is all about the psychology of counseling.    If that "science" does not measure up to what I read in scripture, I discard that message.    I would not be able to do the same in many of the other sciences.  The Bible contains the " Word of God " --  but truth can be found all around us and in addition to the biblial message.  That is a point so obvious, that I hesitate to say it.

Anyway, grace

John Smithson
