I won't argue with you about him being "genuine" - he has given his life to what he believes. The Pope however, is from a whole other realm which does not compare to any individual that believes on TT that I am aware of anyway and he is no more a biblicist than is Joseph Smith;  rather this Pope is a "traditionalist" who worships the "Black Madonna" patron saint of Poland and gives her all glory for saving him from the assasins bullet 23 years ago.  To a biblicist this is plain old heathenistic idolatry with which God is not pleased.     From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] it's interesting that the activism of both Protestant and Catholic conservatives closely match on, e.g., abortion politics--jt and Izzy themselves are as anti-abortion as the Pope   apparently the Pope is a biblicist, too, and the match entails the conclusion that the Vatican produces 'fundamentalists'...
