Every century has had 'events' that precipitated these kinds of observations. It is likely that your (great, great, great) grandchildren will be making the same kinds of observations in a different cultural context.
I wouldn't be as agressive as Terry in my comments, but Terry is 71, not 701. It appears that you, Lance Muir, are speaking of history in general while Terry is talking about these good old United States. Just 50 years ago, homosexuality was considered a perversion and abortion was a crime. That is a fact.
