I don't know the number wounded. Many thousands of Iraqui citizens have died along with their military personnel. Izzy points out: 3000 civilians were killed on 9/11—but that doesn’t matter to a Liberal.   I spoke with an Arab Christian yesterday. In his church there are some from Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia & some Palestinians.   I asked for the views of the above on two questions:   1. Invasion of Iraq - Answer-Wrong move. They should have continued the inspections. Inspections did not prevent 9/11; is therefore ineffective (duh).  Note there have been NO attacks since we went on the offensive. (PTL)   2. Why the invasion of Iraq - Answer -To secure the oil. A blatant lie.  Not one barrel of oil has been taken from Iraq by the USA since the war began. Why don’t FACTS matter to Liberals ???   Now, their answers need not be correct in terms of the choice taken or, the motivation for it. But, it does reflect the attitude of some from that area (who themselves are believers).  Doesn’t mean they are right and we are wrong. Meaning: zip, zero, nada.   One theme occupying myself for ten or more years has had to do with the relation of the conceptual to life. That theme has informed much of what I've said and observed as a participant on TT. But has it made you a kinder, wiser, less sinful person?   We can't speak with one another without either driving some off or, some opting out of participation due a level of frustration that was too high. Including Jonathan.   That which has most 'captured' my attention dealt with 'life' not the 'conceptual': people's sorrows & joys.   It saddens me that the microcosm of TT has continued to reflect what I've experienced  on a larger scale in this bookstore for 16 years.(I'm right, you're wrong & to hell with your dumb ideas. Furthermore Scripture itself demonstrates unequivocally how right I am and how wrong you are!)  So why do you keep provoking those of us who love our country and our President; just to be hateful, or just to drive a wedge between us? You’ve been told before what effect such meanspirited insults have on us. But you persist because a Liberal cannot repress his hatred of America for very long.  Your politics means more to you than hurting us.  (How would you feel if someone kept talking about your wife like that—would you listen to it very long?) Hatred is truly a Liberal value.  You only confirm that with every post.  Thank you for making it perfectly clear.  Maybe you need to turn your attention to Jesus instead of “conceptual life”.  (Whatever that is—include me out.)
