I believe that God can use a believer or a non-believer.  I think the Biblical record supports this assertion.  A friend of mine is having brain surgery this week.  He is in an extremely bad way and the odds are he will die or else be a vegetable.  He had an atv accident on the weekend where the atv turned over and the trailer it was towing ran over his skull.  Now who do I want to operate on him?  Do I want the Christian surgeon because he is a believer?  Or do I want the person most qualified and most learned to do the job?  To me it is a life and death question.  It is a pretty easy question to answer.  If the best surgeon available is a Christian, great.  If not I don’t mind one bit and would actively attempt to get the ‘non-Christian but far more capable person’ to do the surgery.

American Christians are not voting for a fellow believer.  American Christians are voting for the leader they think will best help lead their country forward.  If this choice happens to be a believer than that is fine.  It is not pathetic at all.

Kay I apologize for Izzy shaming you for not agreeing with her choice of president.  If at all possible please do not look at Izzy through her political lens.  On almost all other matters she is very godly and compassionate and indeed a model for the rest of us on this forum.

And we wonder why God can’t bring Revival to America. We can’t even get Believers in Christ to vote for a fellow Believer. Pathetic situation. Izzy

Jonathan, I can see why Canada is “the way it is.”  Hopefully, America won’t arrive there soon, as well.

Jonathon:

I appreciate you posting these articles. I've only skimmed them as I'm immensely busy today trying to get the house in order to leave for Sukkot tomorrow. I also forwarded them to a friend who is beginning to think outside the box as well.

Our family will be gone and off-line for the Feast, but I plan to read these articles in depth when we return.

From my own research into this, I'm now 99% sure I'm voting CP. I still reserve the right to change my mind...

Thanks again,

Kay

Ok I promise that this is the last article from this site (www.newswithviews.com) but this one is quite interesting.  Again the subject is why one should vote for the Constitutional Party instead of Republican or Democrat.  Here is a person that holds that to vote Demo or Repub is a waste of a vote:
