Judy, do you think Christians should be law breakers? Also, do you have a problem with the fact that Jesus Christ himself was under the law, and under these same 613 commands?

It sounds like you might have some kind of personal aversion to Slade being a law abider. Or do you think that Slade has left grace in order to be "under the law"? Are you speaking of being under 613 commands in the narrow sense of apostle Paul's phrase, "under law." Maybe we should discuss what the Bible means by being "under law" when it instructs us that we are not under law.

I wonder if you have ever considered the following passage that Paul wrote:

1 Corinthians 9:20-23
(20) And unto the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain the Jews; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;
(21) To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.
(22) To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.
(23) And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.

I think verse 21 above is interesting, because when Paul said that he was "without law" to them that were without law, he seems eager to clarify that he does not really mean without law, as in "lawless." Paul clarifies that he was not really without law to God, and that he was, in fact, under the law to Christ when he walked as "without law" to them who were without the law.

I wonder... Do you have a problem with Paul walking as "under the law" toward the Jews in the same way that you seem to have a problem with Slade being "under the law"? (Note to Slade: I'm not sure you would characterize yourself as being "under the law," but I'm trying to use Judy's language here. Maybe you could clarify whether you consider yourself to be "under the law.")

What do you mean by saying the Word of God is not really the Word of God? The Word of God *IS* the Word of God. I cannot understand what you are trying to say. Please explain.

Peace be with you.
