jt: I don't know about that, we are not supposed to be judges
of the "redeemed community" because then we make ourselves judges of the
Law, although there should be some in leadership who discipline
spiritually.
Since you've contradicted
yourself, let me try to explain. According to Matt 18, we ARE to judge each
other. The meter by which we use to judge we ourselves will be judged. This
has caused many Christians to say "DO NOT JUDGE" because they want no judgment
at all. Those are like the servants who bury their single talent. Since I've
seen you judge repeatedly on this forum, it probably stands for reason you do
it outside this forum, though quietly and in your mind, I'm
sure.
jt: What I am referring to is NOT
"if your brother sins against you go to him...." it is:
"Speak not evil one of another
brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother and judgeth his brother
speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law; but if thou judge the law, thou
art not a doer of the law but a judge. There is one lawgiver, who is able to
save and to destroy; who art thou that judgest another?" (James 4:11)
Yes I judge doctrine but I don't judge other people's hearts which
is what were doing above concerning the "redeemed community".
I wrote: I have all I can handle trying to deal with
myself.
Which is why you probably aren't
in leadership... and if you are in leadership, you should step down
(Slade)
jt: The above response is a good indication that you
are not leadership material yourself Slade because anyone who thinks they have
already arrived still has a long way to go... We are supposed to have our senses exercised so
that we are able to discern between good and evil. Yassir Arafat is
reportedly a homosexual terrorist who steals from his own people keeping them
impoverished and bound; he respresents the epitomy of evil.
REPORTEDLY???? Since you don't
know, why did you bring it up?
jt: I didn't bring it up Slade,
Arafat has been the topic of discussion on this list all week, where have you
been?
