jt: The Levitical Law
(Law of Moses) was a Covenant given to the Nation of Israel which is fulfilled
in Christ who is the Promise given to Abraham. Israel looked fwd and we look
back to the same Promise.
I don't look back to the same promise and neither does anyone
else of my ilk. We LIVE IT.

is putting yourself back under the letter of the law and the letter kills,
it's the Spirit that gives life.

Slade? Read Galatians 5:1-4. Circumcision is part of the
same law and Paul writes in Vs.2 that if you are circumcised then Christ
profits you nothing. This is not to say that circumcision is not of some
benefit healthwise but if done to fulfil righteousness then Christ
is made of no effect because today circumcision must be of the
heart.
Wrong. Circumcision done in order
to complete salvation does one nothing. If one does it out of obedience and
out of love for God, it avails MUCH. It, then, is the spirit of the Law
that brings life. Your attitude against Torah is the letter
that kills.

Levitical Law still stands and that you circumcise out of obedience to
it? This is what the judaisers who consistently plagued Pau &
Barnabus taught and the first Church Council in Acts 15 along with
the book of Galatians stands against it. I don't have an "attitude"
against Torah Slade but why try to resurrect what has now become defunct
since the work of the cross:
"Having canceled out the
certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us and which was hostile to
us; and he has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He
had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them,
having triumphed over them through Him. Therefore let no one act as your judge
in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a
sabbath day..... (Col. 2:14-16)
For He Himself is our peace who
made both groups into one, and broke down the barier of the dividing wall by
abolishing in His flesh the enmity which is the law of commandments contained
in ordinances, that in Himself he might make the two into one new man thus
establishing peace.. (Eph 2:14,15)
If you have died with Christ to
the elementary principles of the world, why as if you were living in the
world, do you submit yourself to decrees such as "Do not handle, do not taste,
do not touch! which all pertain to things destined to perish with the using in
accordance with the commandments and teaching of men?" (Col
2:20)
