I used to think that you had 'broader' exposure theologically. You've helped me see that this is not so. I shall attempt to factor this in during future posts.
I have never had a religion class, and my reading these days is somewhat limited in regards to theology. My interest is stronger towards reading church history than reading theological systems. I do not have a high regard for most theologians in the post scientific revolution age because of the fruit I see coming from them. I rely on guys like you and Bill Taylor to help inform me in these areas. :-) Meanwhile, I keep my nose in the Scriptures above all, and all other books are secondary to me.

Do you mean that the covenant is only binding on one party to the covenant and that it cannot be broken by anyone but the initiator of the covenant? Do you mean that the covenant exists and is in force no matter what the other parties to the covenant do?

Yes.
Then do you consider every one of Abraham's physical descendants to be still in covenant with God through this Abrahamic covenant?
And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

Peace be with you.
