You assert that liberals want to change the meaning of the biblical text and when asked for evidence, you want me to look at divorce statistics!!!     Your bias and opinion are things that do not benefit me to any degree at all and are certainly not regarded as salient arguments.  Your disgust for "liberals" (something you cannot define with any sense of consistency) has blinded you to any "new" ideas and , my dear, you are a lazy student of the bibilcial message, preferring the proof-text Bible (also known as a "concordance") to  actual meditative study,  an appreciation for exegesis and contexual studies and  meaningful exhange of ideas among fellow Christians.   We have nothing in common.     J   That�s perfectly fine with me, John.  It seems that you have a certain intolerance for people who don�t talk/study/communicate in a way that is acceptable to you.  I on the other had am perfectly fine with accepting you/yours without trying to change it.  If you even tried to understand where I am coming from you would realize that I am very different from you because (1) I don�t hate liberals, but do despise what the political/religious agenda has done to America�s society and churches. (Keep in mind that I live in a nest of �churches� where the sodomites go to �worship� and have �communion��a complete travesty.) As I stated before, my best friend is a liberal, and we love each other dearly.  (2) I find that arguing about ever-smaller bits of information (like evidence that America has been damaged by the liberal agenda, for example) only leads to ever-deepening disagreements and nit-picking, and getting entirely away from the big picture and main points.  In my mind, if you can�t see the forest you sure won�t see the trees.   In your mind we need to microscopically examine every leaf.  So let�s not argue.  Izzy
