I think you are right.  Aside from the fact that you seem to think of logic 
in very narrow terms, as only deductive syllogisms (your statement about 
logic being the construction of a major and minor premise that leads to a 
conclusion), we really seem to agree on this subject.  Exchange your words 
"reason" and "reasonable" for logic, and it seems we are in agreement.

Lance was the one who initiated this disagreement.  I wonder if he now 
agrees with us that my statement was not false?
