Paul could not speak to the Corinthians as spiritual because they acted like the world in the way they handled themselves. The implication is that spiritual men handle themselves differently than the way the world does. Babes in Christ have not yet grown into this different mindset. Christians should be transformed by the renewing of the mind. 1Cr 3:1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, [even] as unto babes in Christ. 1Cr 3:2I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able [to bear it], neither yet now are ye able.
