A preemptive apology from me  ---  this is not a good time of the year.  In '79, a man died whom I scarcely knew but (today) have a measure of respect for  ---   my Dad and on Dec. 17 of that same year,  my sister died at age 33.  We were best friends.   For some reason, after all these years, this year it is really bothering me.   Hopefully, I will not let it enter into my writing on TT nor my relationship with my wife.   I think it won't  -- but it is one of those deeply felt emotions that interferes before you make the connection.   I was worried that I had with you. 

Not a good time of the year for heartache.
