A moot point. ... We Christians are not bound to keep the Sabbath, and it does not matter whether anyone else does or not. If they are not sold out followers of Christ, they are lost no matter what they do.
The point is moot only in regards to salvation. The relevance of this subject lies in a post that Jeff had shared in the past, that those who would be greatest in the kingdom of heaven will keep and teach Torah.
Matthew 5:19
(19) "Whoever then annuls one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Therefore, some of us are interested in how to keep and teach Torah. This passage does confirm, however, that some will annul Torah and teach others to do the same. We acknowledge what Jesus acknowledges, that this will not prevent them from the kingdom of heaven because salvation is through faith in Christ, not through works of the Torah.
Peace be with you.
