he says he didn’t mean the actual posts I sent the day he was criticizing me,
and then he said he only meant the posts I sent prior to the election, and then
he said he was too burdened down to produce proof from either. My point is
made. The girl from
SLADE REPLIES: Before I begin, I want to express some things. There is
no malice intended in this post. I merely show how "The Liberals" are maligned
in Izzy's posts. When/if you read these following posts (some of which are taken
"out of context" because context is too long) you will see a "hatred" for
"liberal ideals." That's not a problem. The problem is then she pins the
"liberal" moniker on TT participants. Can there be any wonder why there is
tension between the "liberals" on TT and the "conservatives?" It's not a strange
step forward to say, "Izzy hates liberal ideals, she calls me liberal,
therefore she hates me." To think otherwise is to be
deceived.
This is one reason I try to remove myself from most
political talk on TT. Like Izzy, I cannot remove my political life from my
Spiritual life. Like Izzy, they're entwined together within me... they're
"echad" (One).
Well, Izzy. Here we go. In my original post to DavidM,
I said, "In fact, your wording below seems to be
maligning Jonathan's character in the
same way Jonathan's maligned Izzy's, and Izzy with 'The Liberals.'" DavidM explained that he wasn't maligned
Jonathan's character while you responded as if I attacked you. You, by
all rights, can interpret what I wrote as an attack, but I actually was
comparing your posts "Against the Liberals" (see below) with David's post
against Jonathan.
Going through archives
carries a curse... a curse showing that I'm the cast iron kettle calling the pot
black. Going through archives also carries a
blessing... how is Ben David Zumbehl doing? When I first read the post
in October, I thought you wrote it wrong, like the first name was missing... for
instance, Slade ben David (Ben meaning "son of." Funny,
eh?
Well, you wanted proof... and here it is. I hope you'll
be satisfied..........
