I assume that the couple is on the same page with me, when it comes to the use of the biblical message in the counsel.   Absolutely no one has ever rebelled at that assumption.   In fact, I have had a couple of men tell they were ready to argue the point, since they didn't want to be there anyway but I did not offer the discussion to them, so we move right into the counsel. 

In counsel or evangelism, we often answer questions that are never being asked and assume the worst  (i.e. TT for some).   Both are not only a waste of time but harmful   ---   closing doors that otherwise would be open.
