As to the 'faith' thingy what's being put forward is that we are saved through the faithfulness of Christ NOT Our faith IN Christ.
Anybody brought up on the King James Bible knows that we are saved by the faith of Christ. I have believed this since I was a teenager and heard it taught this way from the pulpit often. Have you ever heard anybody on TruthTalk disagree with this concept?
My concern with Wright is not this, but with his description of faith being a badge. Also, I do not see the faithfulness of Christ excluding us from putting our faith in Christ. Rather, his faithfulness enables us to put our faith in him.
