I'm not straining gnats. You are the one on the trail of those you disagree (see below), nailing them to the wall for using the "wrong words." Trinity, by your own example, is a wrong word. If Godhead is what you mean, use the word Godhead and follow your own example. I see a double standard and it appears you are now justifying your actions. (I could care less if you use trinity, manifestation, godhead, or triune being, as long as I know what you mean.)

Why is it of such importance? Because we're to lift each other up, but I see a whole lot of the opposite (unless y'all think there are some here on TT that don't deserve to be lifted up).

Are we dealing with ideas or judging the character of people you ask? Hopefully it's just ideas. Hence, I've given examples pulled from the archives. These have your name all over them.....
  • I'm talking about God's Word and you're off in a little world of hermeneutics.. PS: Are you aware that Hermes was a Greek God.  Watch the mindset
  • when are you going to come down from your lofty perch up there with Hermes and the rest of the Greek gods and begin to deal with reality
  • Do you find the word Torah anywhere in your Bible?  It's not in my KJV, nor is it in my Strongs Concordance
  • You prefer the word 'indwell' to the word Covenant?  You certainly didn't learn that by studying God's Word - too many books Lance
Are these judging ideas or character? Hopefully it's just the ideas, but you should go back and read the posts in context before you jump to the conclusion that saves your face. The fact remains, however, your criticism of others has manifested in your doctrine.

I certainly hope this is all a misunderstanding because as you were so astute to note to another TT participant, "Doubleminded people receive nothing from God."

jt: Let's not strain at gnats Slade, the word Godhead speaks of the same concept as the word Trinity;
so the concept is there.  Why is this of such importance right now. Are we dealing with ideas or judging
the character of people?
I suggest you never criticize other posters for using "non-Biblical words" again. This could be interpreted as hypocrisy or use use of a double standard.

P.S. Since you brought it up, what do you perceive Kay and I truly perceive in this post?

jt: Yes that's right but is this all you and Kay see in this thread?
