Judy, Dake is a theologian; you just fail to see that. More importantly, by making that your point you miss the point of my post script: Do you think it would be a good idea to keep private correspondence private? I do.

PS -- Joking aside, just a small suggestion for your (pl) consideration: It may be best when private correspondence is sent between members that neither member make that correspondence public without the prior consent of the other member. My intent was not to "out" Judy, but to let her know that I knew what she had done and that I thought it inappropriate considering her past stance against the referential use of theology/theologians.

jt: Once more Bill; Dakes Notes are NOT theology. I use them as a list of scriptures when they validate what I believe already and yes I was wrong not to list the Bible as a source.  What I have learned through all of this though is how little love there is among those who profess godliness. So many seem to want to get in and lay on another 'stripe' - accusation and condemnation reign.  Is it any wonder people lack vulnerability and openness in Church settings? - they would be eaten alive.  Where is the love that covers the multitude of sin?  judyt

What upsets me much more than the fact that you plagiarized -- something we have probably all done at one time or another
-- is the hypocrisy, the deceit, the dishonesty of it all. I hope,

Bill, this is NOT something of which one should accuse a Believer, as Believers do NOT do these things

(hypocrisy, the deceit, the dishonesty).  Izzy
