Linda, in my original post I was guilty of hyperbole. I also know many of whom it could be said, 'they are most assuredly NOT JERKS.'

Insulting the Spirit of Grace, again, Lance.  I know many Believers who are never jerks.  Izzy

Kay:ALL BELIEVERS ARE, to some extent, JERKS! There aren't any exceptions. (David Miller aside, of course. I shouldn't like to adopt an accusatory tone with him)

The question is: How do we bring others to KNOW when we show what jerks we are towards others? For instance...before I became a Believer, I wanted nothing to do with anyone who called themselves Christian. Why would someone want a Savior/Redeemer...to become like "bad Christians"?

Does the Lord accept as His own the one with a kind heart, who shows fruits of the Spirit but does not believe? I know more non-believers who have fruitful trees and kind hearts than I know Believers, or at least those who profess to be Believers.

jt: So everyone has stories about everyone else. Is it "bad Christians" or are these people the

fruit of "bad doctrine" from the pulpits they sit under? (such as once saved, always saved which leaves

them in ignorance with no spiritual discernment and no Spiritual walk).  Biting and devouring each

other is the fruit of the fallen flesh nature we are born into (including the kind non-believers) which is

why we so desperately need a Savior/Redeemer.  Let's not forget that man looks at the outward

appearance while the Lord weighs the (motivations or) heart and treat others as we would like to

be treated ourselves rather than exposing their flesh or trading evil for evil.
