Are you aware that the Septuagint, which Jesus and the apostles seemed to quote from, asks here, "what is his name? or what is the name of his children?"?


Does this possibility change the way you might read this passage, even if you insert the word son instead of sons or children?

I think these are rhetorical questions meant to point out how little we really know of the Creator.
