This whole thing is dripping with sarcasm; in other words, it is figurative through and through, written only to make a point or two about the extremes of wooden-literal interpretations
You don't think the Bible is written with this kind of sarcasm and figurative speech anywhere, do you? If so, please share some examples. Thanks.
